C4's new anthology

C4 has been studying poetry this week.  Every day he comes home and tells me about the new form of poem he has written then practices writing more.  He is making a collection and has been begging me for a notebook to keep them all safe.  We finally went down this morning and got his notebook for him.  Here are some samples of his work:

Cake
Unlike pancakes
Put'em on a plate
Crumbly
Addicting
Kids love it
Everything you could want

small, gray
rolling, beeping, flying
he was pretty good

Acrobats are arching answers
Baloney bumps beneath blurky blue blobs
Crying cupcakes carry cats carrying coyotes
Dragons dong dive daisily
Elephants eat eggnog
Flying fish fly flaply
Gurgling gorillas grab gumbo
Happy horses honk happily
I'm iglooing independantly
Jello jumps jittery
Kitties kick kangaroos
Leopards lick loudly
Many monsters may mingle
Knights nail nowhere
Octopuses operate onions
Platypuses poke printly
Quadrilaterals quack quietly
Raptors roar riply
"Several silly sharks swim somewhere sadly." said Sean.
T. Rexs triumphantly taunt
Unicorns unearth uneasily.
Vampires vanillaly vanish.
Weeds whistle wacky.
Xeroxes x-ray xylophonely
Yaks yank yams.
Zebras zip zinnias.

C2, C3 and baby dolls

So my two older girls have been WAY into being Mommy lately.  They carry around baby dolls (C2's is named Baby Rose and C3's is named Baby Bell).  They get their babies dressed, put them down for naps, and feed their babies - by "nursing" them.  Also the day after C4's first birthday we had a party for C2's baby and the following day was C3's baby's turn.  C2 even got her baby all dressed in a necklace and a tutu and picked a nice sunny wall so we could do a smash cake photo session with her baby doll.  They are the sweetest little things!

You'd forget your head!

Today during breakfast C3 told me that her head was super heavy and it wouldn't come off..."Because Jesus taped it on!"  She said she was so lucky "He taped it good or else it would fall in the garbage!"

Other fun things about C3:  she says all of her /r/ sounds like an "ee":
door - doeee
more - moeee
she also says gararage like "bagwadj".

And yesterday when C4 was getting her iron tested C3 patted her arm and told her to be brave and that she would be ok in her mommy voice.  She has been just delightful lately!
